Default Tutorial: Manage your Rapidshare uploads with RUM

RUM - Rapidshare Upload Manager is an awesome dotnet based file manager for Rapidshare.

With many great features, RUM is a must for anyone who uploads to Rapidshare.

Quote:
Features:

* Fully functioning explorer-style file and folder manager
* Toolbar buttons:

o Add Folder
o Rename Folder
o Delete Folder
o Refresh
o Select all
o Rename
o Multi Rename - Extremely useful for changing the names of an entire set of rars etc.
o Transfer Files
o Delete Files
o Check Files
o Copy Links to Clipboard
o Download File
o Download Files via external download manager

* Inline renaming
* Move files by drag+drop
* Rearrange folder structure by drag+drop
* Account information tab including awesome Rapidpoints graph
* Account manager
* Upload Manager (like RSM), including:

o Intelligent recovery system - survives internet outages etc.
o Delayed start
o Configurable queued uploads
o Automatic MD5 changing

* Link sorter
* Remote Uploads, including:

o Clear Remote Uploads
o Auto Refresh
o Built in rs2rs.com support
o Happy Hour mode (starts at 02:00)

* Logs tab - Download and Referral Point logs
* Proxy server support

How to install:

1. Download and install .NET 3.5 - only skip this step if you are 100% sure you already have it. If you have problems with the graph even after installing Chart Controls, install this.

Code:

2. Download and install Microsoft Chart Controls - in all my tests this has never been necessary, but some people have trouble running RUM without doing this.

Code:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=130F7986-BF49-4FE5-9CA8-910AE6EA442C&displaylang=en

3. Download RUM.exe - do not rename it, and run as administrator.

Code:
http://reupper.com/RUM.exe

4. For uploading to work correctly, you may need to completely disable your firewall, especially Windows Firewall and Bitdefender. For Kaspersky, you must manually add an exception; accepting the warning is not enough.
